Hello,
This is for the ones who know how to make and fix amplifiers.
I bought a used Topping TP22 from a member and it had been working fine until the power supply konked off one day, probably due to a fluctuation or being left on for a long time.
Anyway, I replaced the 20V, 3A laptop-type original Topping power supply with a replacement laptop-type power supply of 20V, 3.25A (by the way, a Lenovo G series adapter is a direct fit). I had used the amp a few times with this new supply and it had worked fine. After a 2-month period of no usage, I took out the amp and connected it again. But here is a problem: when I flip the on/off switch to ON, the amp keeps going ON and OFF in an infinite loop. I have switched it off and disconnected again after trying different power plugs and mains lead but no luck. The problem is either in the adapter or inside the amp. Unfortunately, I don't have another laptop PSU at the moment to narrow the problem between amp board or PSU.
Any ideas?
