have been around in the forum just going through the post trying to improve and gain some knowledge of hifi but till today have not bought anything for the audio.

A friend of mine has given me a denon 1513 and now i have to build my HT around it

have a 12 X16 room with a 50 inch plasma to it
preference would be 50% music and 50% movies

Do have have a huge budget to start off but going through the forum have come to conclusion that building the system would be great

Did think of the Wharfedale Moviestar MS-100 HCP but do not have that budget immediately

Can i think of the pioneer SP-PK21BS as the fronts for the time being which can at a later stage become the surrounds at a later stage

what CS can i think of for that is going to remain part of the HT

My budget is around 20 to 25K for the time being and looking at around 50 K when the time comes

If not can the esteemed members suggest a front and centre speakers for the Denon with a budget of 20k

I know i need to audition and buy what i like as far as music goes but need to know what would be good before i make a decision

thanks guys

if you intend to build your system step by step then it's a good idea...if you have a budget of 20-25K then you should invest it in 2 bookshelves and a centre, although you may have to strecth a bit to accomodate these...good BS will cost you anywhere around 18-25K + 10-15K for a good centre channel.

If you want a system which serves purpose for music+movies then do not go for satellites, MS100HCP is a satellites based package. wharfdale diamond series is known to be good for music+ movies, you have other brands like Sonodyne (VFM), Polk audio, Boston Acoustics etc.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
