It's really nice to see so many welcome posts.

Yes, the forum members are very helpful. In fact I am planning to purchase a 40/42 inches TV, but not immediately; may be in one or two months time. So I have some time on my side.

I've seen lots of post on this in the forum for 40/42 in. TV, but I'm more interested in Sony 40EX500, or Panasonic 42G20 which I hope should be launched in India soon.

After reading lots of review about Panny G10 on this forum, I'm inclined towards G20.

My viewing pattern is 50% DTH, 30% DVD and 20% HD video, mostly recorded from my HDV camera. My budget is approx 70K.

I think you guys can suggest me better on this. And sorry for writing such a long post.
