home theatre within 35k

Hi
wanted to buy a home theatre with a budget of 25k. was advised against the likes of lg, sony, philips etc..
stretched to 35k. Requirement is basic.. just to connect to dth or occasionally listen to music. Room size 12x 14.

Kindly comment on the options available with me with respect to value for money or any strong pluses or minuses
(a) Yamaha 298 for 35 k
( B) Denon 1312 XP for 35 k
(c) Onkyo 3500 for 30 K
Now i am wondering if there is another option of (d) Just some decent AVR and a pair of speakers for the time being. If so which ones within say 40 K.

Am confused,

yes buy a 1612 for 26k....and get 10k pair of sonodyne speakers.....or wharfedale diamond...14k...

buy other speakers later..will give you a solid system

or if want to settle for less get a onk 34000 at 24k....
denon 131xp is around 31k.......

Go for Denon 1312xp for 30k. There is no competition at this price point. I was adviced against going for Yamaha 298 as you increase your budget beyond 30K then HTiB makes no sense and will not give you value for money.

good...separates will be very good aginst htib combo...
now try to hear different speakers with denon and decide that whice sounds best to you....

Polk Audio is what people generally pair with Denon as they are available at same store (PROFX) and goes well with each other. Personally I felt Sonodyne is bit muddy in the mid and upper mid range but packs quite a punch for good movie experience even without subs.

finally bought denon 1612 and polk fronts Tsi 200 at 40k.

The pendrive attached to usb port with mp3 music is getting disconnected every time... tried formatting , changed songs and all i could think of .

^^ Center speaker. Most of the sound you hear in a movie are through the center channel.

Center it is and be sure to pick up the center from the same Polk brand.

"disconnected.. searching.." and than shows the track

changed pendrive..the new on is playing fine... probably compatibility problems...
