Sound performance you need to take demo. Feature wise they are almost same. I think Onkyo 3500 has usb music playback.

Onkyo HT-S3500 should cost about 25k............if you have a budget of 40k you can perhaps get something better. An AVR + 5.1 speaker system would be ideal. There was a good deal on hifimart, maybe you can check......it was for:

Marantz SR3053 + Boston Acoustics XS 5.1 for about 40-42k (good system)

The Pioneer RS32 is priced around 37K when I last checked it @ Reliance Digital here in Bangalore around 15 days ago. It comes with Floor-standing speakers which are nice and big. And I felt the performance to be good.

But think about the system which aakashr has suggested : Marantz SR3053 + Boston Acoustics XS 5.1 for about 40-42k. This combination sounds much better than pioneer.

A FM have purchased the pioneer rs32 and he have good news to spare also. Contact him for accurate answer.

I got mine pioneer RS32 frm rel digital fr 36.3k....
Its rocking....12inch active subwoofer is thundering .....
Two frnt floorstanders produce good quality of music.
U will never miss PUNCH in music....solid hai boss....
