How do I mix music?

Hello Friends,

Would like to know what is the easiest way to mix music to create tracks?

I was thinking of a digital (software) solution which could allow to mix up different sounds to create some sound tracks just for fun for my personal use.

Have you tried any music mixing software that is both easy and fun to use?
(You can think electronic/techno and similar genres with intermediate voice overs)

Any pointers would help!

I used to play with these : Virtual DJ, Acid Pro, Traktor, Abelton Live and few more small freewares.

You can try cool edit pro, which is pretty easy to play around with and can be easily used to layer up multiple tracks. If you're looking for different sound samples also, then give fruity loops a try!

Generally I use MixPad for fun, its easy also.
