How is Onkyo A-9050 Vs. Yamaha A-S500

Hello Guys,

How is Onkyo A-9050 with compare to Yamaha A-S500.

I feel Yamaha is better, but is the quality difference is huge ?

I like the Onkyo better. Sounds a bit more transparent. Despite its 65w 4ohm rating it has bigger output transistors than the Yamaha. Its output devices are rated at 130w v 80w for the Yamaha. The AS500’s A1694/S4467outputs are puny for an 85w/8ohm amp which doesn’t speak well for its current capability.
