How many years for affordable specs free 3d tv in India?

How many of years wait can we expect to have Real/Actual 3D to arrive on tv's WITHOUT glasses in India for general ordinary ppls & become about mainstream & affordable?

i dont want just any wild optimistic guess but replies from people who actually do follow tv technology seriously & 3d in particular!

so experts & Tv Gurus plz reply!

I see no point in this thread,things change rapidly or may go the opposite.
All one can do is speculate just like they where doing for OLED.

Your guess is as good as mine.
IMO we won't see a glass free 3d for 2011 nor will we see it in 2012,thats for sure since the road map of some of leading lcd panel makers don't have a glass free product.

Since the launch of Nintendo 3DS, I believe it will not be long before we have 3D TV without glasses.

Glasses free 3D is certainly coming soon but "affordable glasses free 3D for the masses" not so soon.
I think most people who replied on this thread seem to overlook the "for the indian masses" bit.

Its most probably going to be glasses free 3D OLED by 2014. Sony, Samsung and others plan to launch OLED TVs by then.

3d displays with or without glasses currently in the market are taxing on your eyes period. I don't even want to get into a discussion on active shutter based and passive ones, cuz people who use both types have claimed that it cannot be used at a stretch.
