how to connect bravia ex650 with phillips home theatre

Recently bought bravia ex650.Using videocon d2h.Got phillips dvp3608 dvd player and dsp 2500 5.1speakers gifted. My problem is that i dont get tv sound out through speakers .DVD player works properly with speakers but not the tv .Can anybody help with connections.

What input options are available in the home theater? If it has headphone in or LR input then you can use them.

use a 3.5 to RCA cable to connect.

D2H is connected to tv via YPbPr lead and dvd player is connected to tv via YPbPr lead and speakers connected via three RCA to 3.5 leads.DVD player and speakers work fine but tv's sound doesn't come through speakers.
