How to demo an HDTV

Showrooms typically have around a dozen sets lined up, all playing local cable/promotional CDs, with varied settings.

When auditioning TVs, is there any particular setting that should be tried out across models to determine the true PQ?

What are the other factors to keep in mind during test runs?

Check the setting for urself, noticed that most tv's that are not promoted have not been set properly. Also carry some hd/fullhd/regular clips to check the difference.
