I recently purchased Diamond 10.1 and got them wall mounted by the company person.
Wall mounts are available from Wharfedale itself and I would recommend those rather than getting some arrangement done from a third party. The wall mounts should cost you appx 2-2.5K.

Bookshelf speakers such as the 9.2 and 10.1 are, if I am not wrong, rear firing. You have keep them at least 12 inches away from the wall. The best would be to place them on stands on the floor.

If you really are very keen to mount them on the wall, use a wooden ledge or a wall mounted TV stand. Do NOT mount them on screws on the wall.

Cheers

Thanks venkat that you raised this point. I have recently got Diamond 10.1's wall mounted using screws although I knew that it is not the best way of listening to such kind of speakers. And they do sound boomy.
Since stand mounting is not an option for me since I have two small kids at home. Hence, would request to guide us (self as well as the OP) as to the other wall mounting options that you have mentioned above.

@n_sachin84: A good news for you: Wharfedale 9.2's are front ported, so even wall mounting could be a good option.

afaik there wont be any harm ,
to my curiosity i am asking y ur asking this question @ crewcut...........
u may be hearing highs bit more if the tweeter is straight to ur hears.......

As I had mentioned you must create a small shelf on the using wood. This shelf
must be large enough to hold the speakers and give it at least 12 inches from the wall.

Another easy and ready made option is what are called wall TV mounts. Looka t http://jenefas.com/images/sss-tt_main.jpg. This is an example of a wall mount for bookshelf speakers. The advantage this provides is that the speakers can be turned in any direction you need.

Thanks Venkat.
The TV wall mount looks good, but then won't it be again too close to the wall?
I was also thinking of fixing glass shelves (10mm thick glass) using two F-clamps. Will that be OK or it has be wooden necessarily?
If I am correct, screw-mounted speakers sound boomy because they are not kept on a rigid base.

You can get TV wall mounts that have a swinging arm that can come quite a distance from the wall.

Screw mounted speakers sound boomy if they are back firing. Some (surround) speakers have to be mounted flush with the wall. It all depends upon your speakers.

Glass is generally a bad idea as it will resonate. Use wood, granite, or products similar to that. Whichever you choose must be inert or sound/vibration absorbing.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
