How to send electronic stuffs bought in US to India

Guys would like to know some affordable method to send electronics item to India from US.
Suppose if I buy from Amazon and send to India using amazon only would it be cheaper... or buying from any other online retailer/ from shop and send them by post..
I am not much aware on best method to send stuffs to India..would request you to suggest some good methods.

Shipping to India from Amazon US specifically takes lot of time for Electronics although they take advance import fee deposit and deliver at your doorstep. Otherwise there are alternative international shipping like Shopandship, Borderlinx, iShopInternational etc
