Hi,

Can someone share their knowledge on how best to connect mulitple systems?

How should we connect the systems say for example

Full HD TV with HDMI,
AVR with HDMI,
PS3,
WD TV Live
Laptop with HDMI output

Do we need to connect two HDMI one going to AVR for HD Audio and one go HD TV for HD Video?

Does it depend on how AVR HDMI is? Passthrough/Non Passthrough?

How would the connetions go in both instances? Thanks a lot

You can connect-

1.PS3/WDlive/Lapy with HDMI 1.3> AVR with audio decoder> HDMI AVR out to LCD

This is the best way to connect as AVR will decode audio & pass video to LCD.
If AVR cant process audio from HDMI then you need to connect HDMI to LCD(Total 3) & cox/optical out from each source(PS3 etc) to AVR(total3).
