HTPC Suggestion

Dear FM,

Suggest a cheap, best and HTPC for the following use. Too tired to explore the thread :indifferent14:

Req:-
1. For Home Theater with Advanced Bluray Writer.
2. For the streaming Best Stereo Sound from hard disk formats like FLAC Wav.
3. Other windows functions.
4. Slim and even very slim.
5. At least some 2 TB capabilities.

Need the best configuration.

Since you want a low cost htpc, look for AMD E350 based motherbord which has onboard CPU. It will play hd videos and blu-rays easily and supports hd audio bitstreaming. If you want something faster, but slightly expensive then go for AMD llano or trinity based cpu. I have tried both and could not find any difference in terms of PQ or SQ. The A6 processor I'm using is slightly faster and the motherboard has more expansion slots and sata ports than E350. For 3D blu-ray disk playback you will need a graphics card. I'm using the entry level GT520. Getting blu-ray writer from abroad is cheaper. I bought mine for around 5.8K only while the same costs 8K here.
