Hi fellow FMs,
I have been a silent reader of this forum.Got to know lot of Audio stuff and details from you.Thanks
Journey:

I started my audio journey by getting my first cheapo setup: TP20 amp and uDac.
Then next came speakers,after lot of research and demo, bought KEF Q30.

I am in to FM radio[yes! I am still FM fan and I love 91.1 FM-Pune,especially "KalBhi Aaj Bhi"] so my next gear was vintage Kenwood KT 5500 radio

One day suddenly, I remember the good old vinyl days and I asked my dad if he still has those vinyl and surprise! surprise! he kept all these records really well[but stopped listening as player was dead].So.my next purchase was Philips 242[from the same vintage seller]

I needed phono stage,seller recommended NAD 3020 and I bought that.

I am enjoying FM and {Laptop+uDac+NAD+Q30} everyday and vinyls on Weekends!

There are 2 kinds of guys into hi-fi listening, (1) those who love their equipment and (2) those who love their music. If you love your equipment (tweeks included), you'd be aiming for the highest end possible to get you to audio nirvana (and of course, the wah wahs and bragging rights in various forums). If you love the music, you'd settle for something (whatever end, hi or low or medium) which lets you sit back and enjoy the music. Though every "audiophile" would enjoy being in the first category, it is every enthusiast's dream to be in the second category. My advise is to settle down with what sounds best to your ears and enjoy the music. I myself have rather straight forward equipment and have been able get some enjoyable listening out of it. That's what matters.
