Looking for a Cheap 32" LED for Bedroom, budget under 20K.
Currently have a Thomson 29" CRT, need to free up some space.
Primary use to watch cable TV from STB. 1080i might be enough. 1080p is added bonus.
Good warranty is important.

Is there is a good comparison for low end TVs.

SnapDeal has IGrasp 1080p model for 17.5K. How is this?

Any good suggestions for similar models.

Is there a list of indian assembled LED TVs in the 32" size market.

I would suggest you go for reputed brand as warranty is important to you and they provide one year warranty and you can buy extended warranty. Panasonic provides three year warranty which can be checked up. In your budget you can get only LCD models and you would be required to raise your budget by few thousands to get LED from reputed brands. But it is better to for reputed brands as the panel is important and you would be sure of getting a standard quality panel as panel related complaints are numerous in our forum. You can also try brands like videocon(who makes for Philips), Toshiba, philips etc. which may cost less than Sony, Samsung etc. Now micromax has also jumped into low cost LED TVs.
very small local brands may have limited service network and you may find it difficult to access the same in case of any problem.

I think that is a HD model. You wanted full HD. Then u have to stretch a bit.see the link below

Philips 32PFL6357 32 Inches Full HD LED Television Price in India

Always view the set to your satisfaction in showroom before buying based only on specifications. Ask them to show SD channel and then HD channel and view both from different distances and viewing angles to find if the picture is to your liking at distances which you would normally view at home. You can also carry some movies etc in your pen/portable drive to see if the movie formats work in the set.

Dear The TV I Grasp you are referring is a good tv i am using it for past 6 months HD movies play back is good also it has 3 hdmi and 2 usb connections. Sound seems low ---you have to connect 2.1 or higher speakers or hook it to your Music system for better sound.

The said tv 32l33 uses the Hyundai Design (Hyundai H-LED32V11 is same).

2. there is one more tv Funai 32 inch the funai seems to be a little (very little better but it has less connectivity options)

3. In the local assembled market of chennai fort (mount road) some indian assembled ones may be available brand - orion , Mitsun etc Mitsun good , Orion i dont know though it is similar to i Grasp

By the way, Funai owns Phillips.
Funai in US makes TVs under a brand called Magnavox. They make crazy number of TVs for the Thanksgiving clearance sale, up in two weeks. Phillips/Maganvox/Funai all are kind mixed up somewhere or the other. Some panels should also be shared. High end TV might come under Phillips, but the remaining cheap ones might have the same barebones.

Funai has new ultra slim models lined up. You can see in their Website.
But have not seen them from any other retailers.

@Silver Dove,
You said comapred it to Samsung as well. Is there any jitters when playing HD videos.
I wanted to know how the motion processing works on the IGrasp. There are no reviews of this TV on this forum.

Black Friday sale in Walmart has Funai 32inch LED TV for $98.
720p, 60Hz.

Might not be able to ask anyone to stand in line for the TV. Even if someone does, hard to transport it cheaply.

As I was saying, Funai/Magnavox (Phillips) sell hundreds of thousands of TV during this month.

Element is another company making TVs in US (Detroit), with imported panels. They also sell a lot with another brand Sceptre (Walmart).

Seiki is the Chinese brand trying to get in. Seiki 39 inch 4K LED TV is $499.
China has adopted 4K in massive scale.

@ K 11 The Igrasp is good enough the quality slight motion jitter is there but Full Hd playback is good enough and is of the same quality as of the Rs 26000/- tVs available in the market.
I am damm sure and have used the i grasp tv extensively my son plays the computer games on it and on sat and sundays it is almost ON for nearly 15 hours
it is working.
my suggestion is wait for the 40 incher to get cheap , till then use the Igrasp and enjoy every bit of it (all types h264 etc are playable on this in addition to this it reads the 1 TB wd my passport hdd easily with NTFS formating)

Micromax has introduced the 39 incher and u can check out i have seen it in showroom it seems to be good i have to check whether it is 4k available for around 29k. will be trying to exchange my tv for it
