I was also eagerly waiting for the NYPV records ever since the news emerged in October 2012, but only to get disappointed. No news regarding that now. Film also doomed in box-office now don't know if this will ever happen. I was hoping if Goutham Menon does this others will also follow and we vinyl lovers see some light at end of the tunnel. But nothing yet. Hindi film music are getting released in Vinyl format, why not tamil.
 
Its really disappointing that good music is lost due to commercial lookout. Yaaradi nee mohini, poo, kumki, and lots more on list are missed out. Wish we had simple techniques for analogue so we can have specially recorded for us like in olden days where recordings of minimum quantity were allowed by The Gramophone Company of India and records were issued. Hope that system comes back.
