hi
in a 32 inches led tv are differences between 720p and 1080p make a big deal??
i am considering buying
toshiba 32pt200(1080p)-rs.27766
or
toshiba 32PU200(720p)-rs.24490(this has lot of advanced feautures likwe 10bit video processor, signal booster etc which pt200 doesnt have)

picture quality is surely important

going to the basic question does 720p and 1080p resolution make a huge difference in a 32inched led tv??

thanks
mahesh

At a distance of 8 feet (the most common viewing distance), most people cannot make out any difference between 1368x720 vs. 1920x1080 resolution on a 51" TV - leave aside a 32" where anyone will be hardpressed to find any difference.

But 32" HD-Ready (720p) will be available in LCD models and not LED-backlit. All LED models will be 720p. You may like LED models for reasons other than picture quality such as brightness, form factor (bezel size, TV thickness), more vividness, etc.

Its hard to find any difference b/w 720p & 1080p on 32" tv with naked eyes. But thts not the only difference in PT200 comparing to PU200. Btw there is new cricket series available from toshiba with some additional feature than PU200.

32P2305 - 24k vfm choice.

I am waiting for festive offer to buy that one.

Let us know about the product and snapdeal service. Is Toshiba providing 3 years warranty ?

In Toshiba India website....this model is under 3yrs of warranty......so when i buy from snapdeal it should be 3yrs too rite??
When ordering it said ready to ship in a day but now saying will be shipped by 14th Oct:mad:
Got to conform with cust care

I still suggest you better buy 2013 model P2305. Pu200 is gr8 led tv and value for money but lets check it improved 2013 model with same price n some extra feature.

checked the model and the diff is 100hz vs 50hz......this is a temp tv which later i would use for guest house or something....so sticking to pu just because of 3yr warranty....bt for the price p2305 is really good

Difference between 720p and 1080p is visible on a 32" LCD only if you sit closer than 4'. I do that when watching movies on my Blu-ray player. For most HD channels on any satellite TV, they are technically 1080p, though the bandwidth allocated is low enough that 720p versus 1080p will not make a difference.

agree on such a small size screen the difference would be noticeable only if you sit so close, more than that distance it does not make any different would be the same to the human eye.

Actually, they (the HD channels) are not even 1080p, they are 1080I. But most people cannot make out the difference.
