Hi friends, i want to buy a new 5.1 ht & my budget is max 40k. I dnt want any sony, samsung or lg ht pack. plz suggest me.... I have samsung 51e8000 series plasma and my hall size is 16*34. I need two floor standing & two wall hanging speaker in this pack....

Floorstander, AVR and powered Sub at that budget is a bit too much demanding. See if you can get hands on yamaha 8390. Then things can fall into place.
A entry level AVR around 20k, Yamaha 8390 @ 12k, Yamaha center surround package ns8900 around 5k, Yamaha sub around 10k will cost you 47k. Still left with wires and interconnects. Less than that is tough to configure.

For 40K budget, you can always go for the separates. You can purchase a AVR with speaker package with 40-42K.

Just a suggestion. Get Yamaha RX-V371 AVR with Jamo S426 HCS3 Home Theater System.

Yamaha RX-V371 - Rs. 19K - 20K
Jamo S426 HCS3 - Rs. 20-21K

The Yamaha RX-V371 has discrete power of 100W per channel with all the latest features. Its the last year's model but a very good one.

The Jamo S426 HCS3 is a 5 speaker package contains 2 floor standing speakers, 1 center and 2 surround speakers. Its the cheapest but very good quality speaker package at this price. It has been rated twice the price. The bass is enough for a home. If needed you can always add a separate sub-woofer later.

You can take a audition at Reliance Digital at your city and also available at various shops.

If you are interested in HTiB then go for yamaha yht 397 just check around you can get it for 35k. You should pretty happy with it.

You can check out Pioneer's 5.1 packages - HTP-RS42 , HTP-RS32 These systems sound very bass heavy and you will like it if you want a lot of bass. If your more after sound clarity and balanced sound then the package suggested by Jaivelu will be better.

abhijeet309 is right go for a good avr and FS...and u can add other stuff later
i recommend Acoustics audio 9584680041.they deals in good brands

Yamaha RX-V373 + NS-P40 : Click here
Yamaha RX-V473 + NS-P40 : Click here

I would recommend to go with RX-V473 as it offers HDMI standby pass through feature. It will route both audio and video to TV when AVR is turned off. This feature is not available in RV-V373. Again, if budget is a constraint then you can go with V373 pacakge deal. This are good budgeted options.

Can't take any decision bcoz in my city dnt get demo f all this ht.. nd widout listening hw I choose my best ht...... :(

in 40 k you can go for jamo s426,they r quite descent.
i audition them a while ago they r pretty fair for a tight budget.

@ sound guy... in my budget jamo426 is good but i had one more confusion, my bro r nt satisfied with the look f 426...

If u want to go esthetics then u have to increase ur budget or go for bookshelf or satellite speakers....cause they are less noticeable.
If u want to for a satellite 5.0 u can have paradigm millennia series they are worth giving a second look but it will cost u around 85K

Hi Jai... whr i get Jamo S426 @ this rate. In INDORE supplier quote 26k for this Jamo pack....

I do not suggest Jamo.... Its not worth 21K for 5.0 system. The woofer costs extra. Look for reviews in Amazon. This particular model has some issues with tweeters ( I could be wrong with model, but check it once) I saw it in Amazon lightening deals for as low as 120$.
Think over and take a call. Do no go for Denon HTIB. Receiver is good speakers are crap.
Try Denon with JBL combo.
If you can shed a little more, you can try BA XS available for 46K in Bangalore with marantz

His requirement is Floor Standers in 40K with AVR.....with this budget Jamo 426 is the best option.....At amazon Jamo 426 has got rating of 4 and half stars......and cost at amazon is 400$.
