Really a good news for us, the vinyl lovers. The price of the vinyls produced in our country would be lesser than what we are paying for the new vinyls which are made outside India, i presume. As regards pressing of new movie vinyls or new recordings of the present day artists there is no doubt but what about the old recordings that were made decades ago? In most cases the original spool tape does not have the same condition as it used to be at the time when it was made. Some recent newly released old vinyls do not sound nice to my ears where as their old siblings are just awesome. One can easily find a day and night difference if he listens to both the old and new release of the same vinyl. There fore i am doubtful about the SQ of the old recordings in their new vinyl avatar, specially , old bollywood movie songs and regional music recordings . But technology is moving further so if there is any way to revive the old recordings which are decades old and make those afresh without losing even a single info then we can get some nice records in future. I am hopeful as I have watched some well restored movies of Ray and Mrinal Sen. If such a nice restoration can be done with old movies why not music or audio?

With AI one can separate each instrument, have separate track for each and remix again, One can remove noise, distortion. too. Change Paul Mccartney voice to Bob Dylan's also possible. (Personally I would not like to alter my favourite artists voice. Though badly recorded I can 'feel' the original voice which the artist sang 'at that time'.)(for novelty purpose and occasional listening it is ok) There are AI videos bringing alive departed famous people.
