dear all, i have couple of bare wire speaker cables that can perhaps use a banana/spade terminal for ease of execution...anyone that i can send it to? what spade/banana connector is recommended..
speaker cable 1 - by Murthy's its the one where the cable core is free from the insulation and freely moves.
Speaker Cable 2 - Belden..don't recollect the model number...grey outer with balck and white inner cable.

I have installed banana plugs on my Belden speaker cables (8477-8471 combo) myself. These plugs have two screws, you can put the peeled wire ends inside the barrel of the plug and tighten the screws, an easy DIY job. I got these very VFM plugs from Amazon and they do the job well (ensure a tight fit at both ends).

I use these with good effect. They look similar, but not identical to the ones in your pics. I can’t say whether they’d fit your amp’s posts.

Don't see any reason why it does not fit both... the amp and speaker.
It may be tight initially and will require some force. Just hold the amp and push in a little till the springs compress.
Hope this helps...Screenshot_20240915-231526~2.png

You have to apply force and push it. These connectors are correct.

The banana insert point at the back of norge is small and I am facing the same problem but as my amp is at one constant place the plugs do not get disturbed. I an using a MX plug which is similar to the one that is shown in the picture. Check at Hifimart site there is one model in pink and black coluur that has different locking mechanism. I think it is sold by hifimart on behalf of sound foundation. If you can get a similar model it will fit properly. I is called "Spring fit grip".

Yes. There are two kinds of banana plugs - ones that are springy which you just press in and the other where you turn a screw to tighten them. I’ve always found the latter gets loose after a while, disturbing the connection. But the springy ones remain snug.
