Dear Experts,
I want to build a HTPC with following functionality:
1. Good Web Browser
2. play Youtube HD videos
3. Download & store Media using Torrents
4. Play various video formats
5. Play FLAC files
5. Output 7.1 bitstream/PCM thru HDMI
I have chosen the Intel 5th generation I3 processor as I think it is value for money. I think if I add RAM + SSD, I can still build a PC within 30k.
Now will the NUC kit be better OR I should look at Gigabyte etc ?
Which OS will provide above functionality ? MAC, Windows, Linux ? Openelec ?
Can I install FREE MAC OS on Intel NUC ?
I also heard of the free Windows 10. Is it worth spending the time ?
