INTEX 55 Inch uhd tv? @61 k?

Iam bowled over by this tv which I had a glimpse in a showroom.
I had been to a showroom to get a quote for lg49 uh 770 t for which I got a quote for Rs.95,000.
Iam an LG fan and I have 2 LG tvs at home giving good company for the past 5 years and would look at no other brand than Lg.
This 55 inch Intex 4k smart tv bowled me completely,it looked good,sd content was very good for this size,upscaling was good,sound was awesome with a great bass,colours were very natural like in lg,not popping out,3years warranty,android,there isn't anything negative I could find.
Has anyone had an experience with Intex tvs,after looking at this tv buying anything for double the price looks like a crime
Any suggestions and views would be immensely helpful.
If not this I would buy a 55 inches from lg for double the cost.
Even if it fails in 3 years,new technology would have arrived by that time and replacing this would not be a big loss.
Advice please....

If you are ready to spend 60k then are few Tv to buy from the likes of Vu, Leeco. Intex should be not considered at this high price point. You should have seen LG 50 UH850T it retails for 95-100k. Amazing PQ, has HDR 10, Dolby Vision, 4K you set for at least 5 years.

Thank you for your reply,I too thought exactly the same and went to the showroom to enquire the price of lg 49uh 850 t and got a quote of 1.10l and wanted to buy but again this tv s picture quality again mesmerized me and I some how got hypnotized and made payment then there for 60.5k rs.
Iam an ardent fan of lg and would not even look at other brands but some how this one changed for the first and final time.
Before making payment I asked them 3 times if they would send this display peace and was assured that they will send a new one.I still did not beleive and went back again after 15 minutes to check if the display unit was there,alas it was not there,they had packed it and even delivered it at home.I asked them to take it back which they did promptly and Iam waiting for a unit to arrive today.
So,I went to buy lg49uh850t with cash and bought this,I got hypnotized.
Let's see,I thought for a 55 incer,the price difference between 850 t and an OLED is only 60 k rs,so buying a high end 4k tv for almost the price of oled was not justified.
Keeping fingers crossed,if I had seen your reply before,may be I would not have made the impulsive decision.

I shall write a short review after a little experience.
This is an android tv,8gb ram,8 ms response time,310cd/m2 brightness,wifi direct.
Does wifi direct means we need not give our wifi password,if I were to give how would I type?
I researched about lg tv for a month and ended up buying this,pq was so awesome,5 times better than the 2 LG fullhd 32 and 41 lg led tvs at home.

Vu and le eco do not ship to my place,besides,le eco has withdrawn its bigger models and would stop selling this 55 incher too after all the existing old generation tvs are discarded in India.
There is a 3 year warranty for the tv I have bought,fingers crossed

No Intex would not have the option to check usage hours. So its not possible to check that. You should have written the SN number to check if the new Tv have the same SN Number. Don't worry about all this and don't get discouraged that you bought this Tv just enjoy it. Just make sure you calibrate it properly this is very essential to get the best out of the Tv. Remember you are looking for Natural colors and not artificial looking colors. Whatever you calibrate Color temperature should always be warm this is important.

Can you please let me know from where you purchased this TV in Chennai, even I am looking for a UHD 55" TV, but would prefer to buy from a SHOP locally rather than Online. I stay away from the city and have seen the way the courier persons handle the delivery.

Do not worry about the handling of courier person. Tv's are handled with more care and in case it arrives broken you get a replacement without any issue.

I have received my INTEX 4K 55 INCH TV for 60.5 k rs
Iam stunned.
How can the picture quality be so good.It's simply beautiful.
All hd channels(around 30 in sun dish)are upscaled to 4k and the result is stunning.
Audio is awesome.There is a 5 band graphic equalizer and you can make your own choice in addition to the existing 4 other preset equations.
Iam an ardent lg fan and will buy lg products only in the future but if this tv lasts for even a year in addition to the 3 year warranty period my next oled tv will also be an Intex.
All those who have planned to buy a le eco or Vu should certainly have a look at intex even if it costs a couple of thousand rupees more.For those buying a sony or Samsung,well you should reconsider spending twice or thrice the money.Peace of mind factor?,well there are a lot of stories of samsung and lg panels going caput in 1year.
This is a chinese tv but it is premium and looks and works exquisitely.

About cons...
The tv is completely naked at the rear,with only panel for the upper two thirds.Sales people told me all the latest tv s of all manufacturers are naked and don't have the plastic cabinet enclosure like my old lg tvs.
The upscaled picture of hd channels are over sharp and look like 8k ,for which we can anytime lower the tint and contrast.
The stand,i.e.legs are at the ends and not in the centre,so you need to have a very wide base to rest.
Not many preset to play with and there are no hdr,dolby vision,pur colour,split screen,quantum dot,etc.It's a no frills premium tv.
There is no amazon prime video app in the play store.
No Bluetooth or no screen shot option.
No sd card memory slot.
8gb ram of which one gb is already used

About people confused over pur purchase of an uhd tv over full hd....
You don't need a 4k broadcast,upsacled hd channels are almost 4k like,don't even consider a full hd tv in 2017.
You should see to believe it,have a view at a showroom.
After purchase,visit the same showroom in half an hour to check if they have packed and sent you the display unit,which they would have

I think, it is 'not ok' to go off your tv during every power cut. Its better to go for an Inverter with battery for around 15-20k if your budget permits or you may get a small ups which atleast give little time to switch off your tv manually after a power cut. sorry, if this a late reply. Don't regret, just enjoy the tv.

I need some guidance.
I installed netflix in my intex smart tv from app store.The cursor does not work when pointed over subscribe here portion,cursor works everywhere else.So i installed netflix in my smart phone and the free first month subscription is going to end without watching a movie.Should I point the cursor somewhere else,I beleive iam following wrong steps in subscription.
Amazon prime video app is missing in the appstore as in other android tvs,since Google has some issues with amazon.I've read le eco tv owners installing it some other way.
Can you guide please.
