An artist who i stumbled upon by chance.

British Guitarist and Jazz musician..

Of Goan origin but settled and died in UK in 1996 ( age 60 )

His music is sheer brilliance - innovative , serene and uplifting.

http://amanciodsilvamusic.com/

is the official website - in case you are interested reading about him and his life and work and photos.

PS2 : I did contact the amancio website and request them to release more on vinyl.

PS3 : His photo reminds me of

Vinod Khanna
Mumbai of 1960's - which we see in the movies sometimes in black and white

Here is a youtube link to start you off.

There are many more youtube links.

I do hope you end up liking his music just as i did and do add his vinyl or CD to your collection

Lastly - i have no personal interest but a simple wish that his music be heard by a newer and wider audience.

His work deserves it.

Thanks for a great share!

Have been listening to a few of his songs on Youtube.
Simply superb music ... definitely deserves to be heard more.

The "Hum Dono" album with Joe Harriott sounds really good.

,

Managed to find Hum Dono on Tidal!
Interesting mix of jazz and 60's Hindi movie music ... full trip.

Thanks again for rediscovering a rare artist.
