Hi
Can anyone tell me if there is any company which market 50" screen LED TV in India and how much its costs?

This is an exellant offer. Though I never trying to know PQ of Panny led, it should be acceptable I guess.
A 50 inch led for 68k!!!.
LG has finally found a threat w.r.t value for money.

Lg has a 50" LED model in the 2013 range which will most likely be available in India by the end of April. The model is 50LA6200. It has a native 120hz panel, passive 3d built in WIFI, and a dual core processor. LG is pitching it against 50" plasma models.

On a lighter note, Good that u agreed that lg is vfm :)

And pana leds are not bad atall...they also come with passive 3d and, yes a perfect ccompetition to lg... The only concern with pana is ass , as the strategy of pana in the tv market is not yet understood and as mentioned in other posts, pana for some reason could not establish themselve in india or outside...
That said , one thing is for sure that passive 3d is the way going forward be it lg, pana or sony ..

On a lighter note, I forgot to put quotes around vfm;)
BTW I feel real value for money is giving a TV for a lesser price than the premium ones with nearly same PQ of them. Not just wooing customers with smart features and the omnipotent passive 3d.
There are TV brands like VU that give good PQ for far lesser prices than Sony/Sammy, LG.
Vfm usually goes with features and it may not necessarily mean good PQ.

And I beg to differ that Panasonic could not establish itself in India and outside.
But I am sure that LG could well establish itself in vfm category rather than PQ category, going by the reviews.:)

VU... Hummm.. No comments...

My sincere opinion , stick with sony, samsung or lg... Toshiba , pana leds are also good optios if budget is a constraint...

To me Panasonic PQ looks more natural and closer to plasma than Samsung and Sony. I have thoroughly compared the three and also possess all of them.
But then it may be personal choice.

I recently bought vu 50 inches 3d led in hyderabad for 65k. The picture quality is really great for the price, and what i came to know about the panel is it is a samsung made panel which a+ grade.even i have been using a 55 inch vu from the past one year , i never found the pq to be inferior to competing brands. I only after comparing vu with sony ,samsung and lg side by side with same hd content came to a conclusion to go for vu, its a great vfm product, i personally used a 32 inch lg full hd, 42 inch Lg and philips 46 lcd before going for vu 55 3d.even the 50 inch which i bought just last week isgreat with active 3d.u can get the dealers number from thecompanies website or u can try in chroma but i suggest u to take it from a local dealer as u can get it cheaper than chroma by a coupleof thousands.

forget tv...pj is the real bigscreen...when investing...invest in a pj...
they need maint..yes...has many drawbacks..yes...
but no tv can give you 120 inch ....without costing a fortune...
no offences friends...

to op..are you free to plasmas...50 inch plasma can be within 55k....better pq than leds....well they are not also maint free

there is nothing called free lunch actually......

and with great source every tv is good....you will see inferior picture if you want to find and compare side by side...cant comment on reliablity..but be it vu or micromax...looks goood with a nice source and player

No hard feelings,
I never said that VU or micromax are bad on pq...in fact I agree that with great source every led tv looks good.. Sode by side if some one wants, he/shrcan find the flaxs in anyany brands...
Anytime, Plasmas are the best in pq than leds...
My view point on suggesting sammy, sony or lg is good pq , at the time good RELIABILITY AND ass...

Personal experience has to be valued and plasma like quality is indeed sought. But I have a personal preference for quality of Sony and LG products not sure about Panasonic quality. What about Micromax 50 Inch LED, it is available on Infibeam.

My experience says that PQ wise if one is ready for LG then one could as well go for panny leds.My gut feeling says that they could be equal or better than LG.
We can atleast put panny led on our radar. If they can give a cheaper led and with pq as good as lg then there is no reason to think of micromax I guess.:)
