Is it a good deal for VIERA TH-P42X20D?

hello friends, im getting Panasonic VIERA TH-P42X20D for 35K under exchange of an 21 inch Tv in mumbai. Is it a good deal? Has any one got a better deal than this one in Mumbai? Please let me know.

if u sell 21 incher u can max get 2K

I have heard and read that Panasonic is really pushing the sales of their entry level / budget plasma's which includes 42X20D and hence a big discount...even in Mumbai if you try hard and bargain well you should get it @ 33 K range if not less (w/o exchange) and more so if you pay for it upfront in cash. I too managed to pick up a set @32,500/- cash w/o exchange and no freebies...we have bought 07 pc's already and there a few others contemplating the purchase. Someone in the forum has managed to get a price of 33,000/- incl. freebies...

So I firmly believe that you should be able to get it around the same price range even in Mumbai...try local / small dealers.

@pmuthusw, that is a good price. I got one for Rs. 36900 yesterday and that was the lowest I can bring down the price too.

@pmuthusw you can collect just 1-2 guys, fetch contact number of institutional sales guy's no. from panasonic website. tell him u want five units and he will get u best price. tell him that institutional dealers in delhi are giving in 32.5k. after he get convinced for price get 1 piece and tell that ur frnds will follow soon. i started with 2 guys and now 7 have bought from that dealer @ 32.5k.

best of luck! squeeze these dealers as much as u can. they are already making a healthy profit.
