good options however if used for everyday typing as well ..avoid.. go for a mechanical keyboard and a seperate remote (hp mechanical kb-0316 or tvs gold..best of all).

I dont know about this particular model, but I have Microsoft Wireless keyboard v700 + mouse. But its performance is not good, at times it will just go into a bad mood and either miss keystrokes and/or repeat keystrokes several times over. and this continues for days and will get OK on its own. So I would suggest you to stay away from it...better go for Logitech...they are into PC peripherals business and its their bread and butter...so any day they will have a better product than Microsoft in this section.

+ to what falcon said and thats what i stated before go for mechanical keyboards.
all these keyboards we have problems with have a single plate inside and also the keys go hard with time and use and missing keystrokes.. almost impossible to clean them..
only option is to throw them a plastic e-waste. however mechanical keyboards u can even replace a single key and grt for usage for long term use.

i have multiple plate keyboards lying unsued coz they work but keys have become hard unable to type in flow or play games.. finally back to tvs gold and happy with it.

I use TVSE Gold mechanical keyboard. For the price of 1200/- though you can easily buy 3 membrane keyboards in a year and junk them as soon as dead keys develop :)

The clickety-clack of mechanical keyboards can irritate your partner at late nights and in general.

Cheers

I second that. I personally love the tactile touch of a mechanical keyboard, but it is not practical for most people.

I've had bad experiences with MS mice as well.

I use the wireless Logitech Wave keyboard and a wireless mouse.
Wireless Keyboard K350

Has been over a year now - never faced a problem. It has a really long lasting battery too - Logitech claims 3 years.

for people who type lot or wants things to work better rather lookin good...

tvd gold.. my old time love..

else go for a hp mechanical keyboard for 600 rs.

The Korg microKontrol 37 mini-Key USB MIDI Keyboard Controller, Its got a beat pad and a keyboard but i saw a video on youtube of someones flipping out.

search for MCE remotes in ebay.COM , there are several Hong Kong made ones. I got one for around $20 (shipped) few years ago. Still works brilliantly

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
