Three movies are missing:

(1) Skyfall, 2012, James Bond portrayed by Daniel Craig, Directed By Sam Mendes - in the making.
(2)Casino Royale, 1957, James Bond portrayed by David Niven - the true original first James Bond film.
(3)Never Say Never Again, 1983, James Bond portrayed by Sean Connery, Directed by Irvin Kershner - the remake of Thunderball.

Amazon will allow as long as order status is not changed to Dispatching Soon or Dispatched.
This set is going to be released on sometime in October that also an expected date not definitive. You can wait for few days...Given the price, I'm sure there will be more than enough copies available even after release::).
 
ordered it today...this is my first bluray purchase..just wanted to know if I will have to face any region specific issues..I am planning to watch them on my pc for now...If at all I plan to get a bluray player in future..do I have to buy any specific model/type?
 
As of now , it is not clear whether this boxset will be region free. We need to wait and watch. if it is a region free boxset , then you will be able to play it on any BD player.

Thats normal....amazon do this kind of validation on card with expensive orders.this amount will be adjusted in final order or refunds if cancelled. Did the same for my LOST Series US order.
 
Does Amazon allow us to refuse to buy when the blu rays become available or now it is mandatory ( they have our card details ).

Absence of Skyfall is not surprising.

The package is probably linked to the "James Bond" franchise started by Cubby Brocolli. The original "Casino Royale" and "Never Say Never Again" were not part of the franchise and hence may be missing.

The rights of the original "Casino Royale (1967 and not 1957)" were owned by Columbia and that is why United Artists the fanchise co-owners could not make it. MGM acquired UA in 1981 and Sony acquired Columbia and MGM later. Then Sony had the rights to "CR" and hence it was remade.

In my opinion, Casion Royale (1967) as well as Casino Royale (2006) are probably the finest Bond films. The other Bond films that I liked are Dr. No, Goldfinger, Thunderball, The Spy Who Loved Me and Golden Eye. Most of the others, I found quite silly.

If you cancel the order before dispatch..they won't charge anything. They charge the amount only before dispatching the item. You can cancel up to the status Dispatching Soon. Once it got Dispatched no chance to cancel.
 
I have the entire set in VHS then Video CD then DVD .... so not going to get the Blu Rays very soon ..........8-))
 
Deba , it seems you are kind of a "early adapters" and ardently following "the laws of technical systems evolution" ..then dont you think you should also have it on Blu-ray .. :)
