Jamo D series Home Theater System

I am moving from US to India and on a recent trip to India hear Jamo D6 PTX and Jamo D7 PTX on a Marantz receiver. Any comments on quality and value for money (Rs 2.3lacs and 3.7Lacs resp) - the use will be 60% movies and balance for music.
I checked prices in the US and the system is 50% cheaper; of course, I will have to use a voltage step down converter. Will this have any bearing on quality of sound ie India is 60MHZ vs US is 50Mhz. Any reommendation.
How would you compare Jamo vs Onkyo vs B&W.

Don't worry about the step-down transformers, lot of us are using them without any problems. You have branded transformers available now in India (Maxine...). If you are not paying for shipping and likely to carry AVR/speakers with you (no/low customs duty probably), it's worth carrying from USA.
