It's just been shipped to my son and have to figure out how to get across here. I have got my first two 4TB drives across to Bangalore through a mule, will get another two more later to fully populate it. I expect to have it up and running sometime in the next quarter. In the meantime my Synology 213 is working like a charm.

Got it and loaded the four 4TB HDDs and have got it up and running today. Its a lot simpler to set up and get running than the ReadyNAS units(ive owned two of them so I know). I'm dumping various backed up files into it using the USB 3.0 jacks on the rear.

i agree it,I think around $500 +/- ,i want to got one,thanks

Thanks Rahul but will really stick to Synology, they have some great reviews and user experiences.

I reviewed some QNap models but the reviews were not positive.

I am really contemplating on going from 2 bay synology to 4 bay qnap.

My main reason is to eliminate the computer I am running as plex server.

I my planed move to dedicated home theater, I started acquiring very high quality videos. But unfortunately these are not compatible with my TV, Chromecast, etc. So now often I end up running another computer as plex server.

Going with qnap will eliminate it. At the same time I am running out of space in my 2 Bay Nas.

Thanks
