KINDLY give some FINAL SUGGESTIONS about RS-33

Dear AV freaks..
I have decided to buy PIONEER RS-33 on this sunday (19.01.14) in Chennai. I request friends of HiFiVision to GIVE SOME FINAL SUGGESTIONS ABOUT RS-33.

have you gone through demo of denon, yamaha, Onkyo AVRs? have a demo of as many as possible, check out which one most suite to your taste and then decide..

I xperienced a demo for denon and pioneer in reliance digital chennai. (But not for yamaha) After listening these two AVRs, I liked pioneer than denon. Bass is the only reason for my selection of pioneer than denon. I dont know about Yamaha and onkyo. Once I spoke to Onkyo person, who said onkyo is far better than other AVRs. But unfortunately I didnt ve any chance to ve demo for Onkyo. The main reason is, I have chances to visit showrooms only on sunday only. But Onkyo's, they dont hav shwrooms on sundays. Wat to do..

I am using pioneer rs32 since a year.
RS 33 is also more or less same,I suppose.
Very good for bass headers,
Good music clarity too. Very good DD 5.1 ch effect in tata sky hd.
Definitely recommended...

Try Prodigy showroom on RK Salai (Opp President's Hotel), Its worth trying Onkyo before your purchase decision.

Friends.. Upto this day of my search of HTs, My mind goes with RS33. Some simple reasons are..
--12" sub
--Tallboys
Though Yamaha, Denon, Onkyo have same specs (may be higher than RS33), they lack in Tallboys. Spending 40k in purchasing HT is somehow large amount for me. So, to me it should have RICH BASS, RICH in QUALITY and SHOULD HAVE A RICH LOOK.
Having Tallboys in both sides with 12"sub and my 42"LED in the front portion looks somthing different and something grand in look. Thats why i prefered RS33.
Friends.. if brands like Yamaha, Denon, Onkyo having Tallboys with 12"Sub, please inform me with the model number. Bcoz i planned to extend my search...

RS-33 is a good option. pick them up with AVR 323. Avr's below that wont be future proof.

rs-33 is the speaker package and with avr 323 later you can make changes in speakers etc as per your liking for fronts or sub or center.

there are multiple and rest can be custom matched.. money is the deciding factor..

Friends..
Finally i got YAMAHA YHT-299 yesterday.
Price: Rs.36500 in Reliance Digital, chennai.
I am very happy with the audition of 299. As many said RS33 is somehow noisy. Though it has heavy Bass, the noise from the front speakers spoiled the bass. But in 299, though it has only 6inch sub with very small box, it can deliver some good Bass comparing to the 12inch RS33. In reliance, RS33 is placed in the specified room for Home theatres. But 299 placed in the open space. Even in the open space I wonder to hear heavy bass with that small sub in that opn area. So i changed my decision and got 299. Iam very proud to say that I AM THE OWNER OF MY YHT-299.
--Now I had a doubt. In reliance i saw a Tallboy spkrs from yamaha, model 8390. I like it as i hav a desire to hav TALLBOYS. Will it suite with my 299(HTR-3066)?

Vaathyaar , you have bought in Reliance Chrompet ? Because even i tortured that person for an hour , finally got them seperatly some where else . In that room i was even show a demo of RS-33 later i had bad reviews on it

I own HTP-RS7 which looks pretty much similar. I had bought it in 2009 and i quite happy with it. RS-33 looks like their newer model.

I must admit its a little heavy on bass. So if your into music like house/electronic you wont regret it for sure.
