what about Sharps 108 inch , or 90 Inch LCD? Not available in India?

5 years back 100 Inch Plasma got "decent sale" as per one senior AV installer....

also Sharp launched 100 or 103 inch lcd in India right?

Samsung 65" plasma for only 1.87L. Got great reviews on F8500. Supposed to be equal in performance to Panasonic VT50.

BTW: What is the viewing distance and what content you are going to view most frequently ?

A friend of friend of mine has a 110" Panasonic professional display in his home. It is not a TV but a PPDP (professional plasma display panel). It has no tuner or speakers and that is the main difference. The Panasonic people visited his home before taking the order. They checked:

- whether the TV can be delivered safely into the house
- whether the TV can be installed
- whether there was proper power supply point
- many other such parameters

I don't know the price. I have not seen it either. All I know that it was a special order.

saw 90" sharp couple of days back for 20 laks, totally not worth it, PQ was terrible and in 90" you need 4k as even 1080p doesn't go justice to size. in 1080p you can go upto 70" top.
