i was sure at ld 650 but it cost a lot. but i can bargain.
so all choice are in my reach
but now sony is in competition because a relative can get it for less price
i dont need a led
i will be using it for gaming as well so high hz is important
so what is ultimate lcd ?
i dont care about usb feature, sound, and internet features or any other gimmick but i need high hz or non 60 hz

LET END THIS BATTLE

PS i am in mumbai so if some one can add cost it will be great

(Just to answer your query)
Go through the specifications of the TVs you mentioned, and select whichever specifies more Hz. You will be able to find the specification on their respective website.

The samsung C550A and the EX400 are a better buy.
The Sony EX400 doesn't have a text mode via HDMI,so text won't be as clear as it should be.So as a monitor its not recommended. But for gaming and movies its fine.
You can't go wrong with either the Samsung C550 or the EX400 which ever works out cheaper.Samsung i hear are giving the C550 for as low as 51k i hear.Where as the sony you can get a better deal only if you buy them in the grey market,or perhaps via your relative.

The trumotion isn't really that effective and for gaming its best to disable any kind of motion enhancing circuits.

what about lg ld650 or 460

I compared the LD650 against C550. I found that for HD, the LG had better (slightly) clarity & detail than the Samsung, but the Samsung had better black levels and better image with SD (cable) content.

Looks-wise, I liked the LD650 a lot. It just seemed more modern & classy, the Samsung doesn't have much design cues.

My vote would be for Samsung - I am a unabashedly biased Samsung owner :ohyeah:

can anybody else tell me unbiasly

Why don't you just go to the showroom and check them yourself, everyone has there own criteria in PQ.Again make sure you adjust the tvs to their best.

Colors are subjective,no one can know whats colors are truer by seeing the tvs with their naked eye..

having said that the Samsung C5xx are going for great prices i would pick them up ,but make sure you get a SPVA panel.
About the LG 650 its descent tv but it doesn't warrant the higher price compared to LD460,but when you compare them to samsung it looses in SD PQ and contrast.

Higher the contrast the more perception of depth in the image.

what does that mean, so there is no diff in pq of 460 and 650. i like the high hz tv, they are good for gaming.
what about sony ?
what is difference then of samsung 6 and 5 series ?

Even in the Sony the ones with motionflow 100hz ,IMO aren't worth the premium over the 60hz EX400,definetly not in showroom purchase.(But samsung series 6 and 5 have not much of a difference in price ,around 5k to 7k i hear.)

The Samsung 6 series has the Auto Motion Plus 100hz over the 5 series, same goes to the Ex500 with 100hz motion flow over EX400.

The 100hz isn't recommended for games, since it increases the input lag.engaging the game mode disables motion enhancing processing.

how to check samsung spva panel

and which samsung is good in 5 and 6 series ?
according to me feature set changes within different models of series not the pq am i right ?

Well you need to look at the sticker in tv with the letters SQ01 or SQ02 or SQ03.

In series 5 and 6 not much of a differnence in PQ,but as you go higher it comes with even better panels and image processing.

my first love in tv was toshiba rv600e , how it matches up? many people say its great but the store guys and friends bash it. i cant tell the difference. when i saw bd playing next to a sammy led i first though it was led!!

what is svga display of sq01 sq02 sq03
its on box or i can see it on showroom ?
so 5 series is good ?

All are SPVA ,the sticker is in the LCD,so you will have to open the BOX ,in the sticker any one of those means its a SPVA.
Yes 5 series is good tv.

All tvs are good in HD even some el cheapo ones, but its the SD content like DTH,DVD etc where the big companies shine,if they won't to be different from the rest.

I haven't seen the toshiba + its service after sales support is a ?
