LED or Plasma w.r.to viewing distance

Need TV for bedroom with viewing distance not more than 6-7feet.
Should I go ahead with 42 inch plasma or 32 inch LED?

I feel 42inch will be too big, whats geek say?

No it won't be 7 feet is 84 inches which is twice the size of the screen and that is just fine.
