LED Television

Try a compare on Flipkart. I did that and found the following:
Sony has a higher refresh rate of 200Hz vis-a-vis 100Hz in Samsung
Sony: 4 HDMI ports Samsung:3
Sony: Sound 16W RMS Samsung: 20W RMS
Sony is listed @42.9K while [email protected].

I suggest go for an audition at a nearby store and check the PQ and colours on both TVs. Satisfy your visual & aural senses and decide. 7.5K is a good chunk of amount.

Can anybody suggest me that Sony 32W700B is having good features/technology or Samsung 32H5500?

Like I said in many of my previous posts, I faced panel issues with Samsung H5100 (non smart) in 2 months and got refund and bought SONY W700B.

Since I used both the TV's I can suggest u pro's and con's of Sony over Samsung. I am skipping smart features here.

Sony Pro's

Needless to say Excellent Picture Quality compared to Samsung.

4 HDMI Ports and sufficient amount of gaps between USB ports.

Lots of Picture settings options. Lots of Scene selecting option.

True 16:9 format. If u compare both the TV side by side U could see few
frames getting cut in Samsung along the right and left hand sides. But not in Sony.

U can swap between Set top box/Antenna content and USB content. If you pause some video which is playing via USB and go to set top box channel and come back to USB content you can still view the video where u left. This is not at all possible in Samsung. I find this feature to be extremely useful.

Support more video format than samsung.

Looks. Especially that cute Illumination LED

Neat Interface and tutorial.

Sony Cons

Bezel. Its thin compared to old sony models. But definitely not as thin as Samsung H. But Bezel Quality is superior than Samsung.

Sound. A Big letdown. Samsung sound was nice. Yet its not as bad as some LG models. But if you have sound bar you can manage.

Application interface. It takes more time to load.

So I feel, Sony is better than Samsung. I would suggest you to go with Sony W700B. But you have to check for yourself in some retailer before buying. Good Luck
