Hi Friends,
i am going to buy new 40/42 inches LED Tv.

my budget is about 55k.

SO please suggest me best models.

internet connectivity/Apps is not necessary but picture quality must be great.

So experts please suggest me models . thank you.

Go for latest sony model ex650...but you may have to extend your budget.
Within the budget you can get samsung leds.

Lol. Don't go for Sony alone op. Read this forums and you will understand these guys who posted support sony alone. You should look at other brands too.

sorry op for recommending a sony product..I was kidding cause according to the forum rules it is prohibitted to recommend sony product even if it's better than others..please buy any other brand except sony..sorry for wasting your time.

If 40" LED is what you want, then at that budget, you should be able to get a Samsung UA40EH5330R or LG 42LS3400 or Sony EX520 (a tad more expensive). You can check out Toshiba and Philips also.

At that price, you can also aim for the 50" plasma (Panasonic P50X50D). 10" difference!!!

Thank you very much all of you for reply.
i have checked Samsung UA40EH5330R at Flipkart , will this best for me?(if anybody have it then please comment)

Only one: do not buy anything unless you have taken a demo. If you have blu-ray discs and DVD's, take them along and see how they perform. The demo disks in showrooms are usually those than contain brilliant landscapes, wonderful green forests, amazing colors, etc.

Hv a es 6200. Sd quality is poor but hd is brilliant plus plays many formats, look at Panasonic and LG too. Pana have an e5. Go demo these all first, later you can buy from flipkart.

go for Plasma as long as your room where tv is gonna be isnt too bright. Otherwise, LED. As long as ambient light is less/dimmable or watching happens mostly in the nights, for PQ plasma, LED for rich, glossy, exaggerated colors.

use the saved money(add some more) and get a decent amp and Bookshelf speaker combo. Its gonna be well-worth the investment if you use your TV to watch movies and documentaries(courtesy Discovery, NGC etc.,) most of the time!

by the way, whats the viewing distance? (from TV to your couch or whatever else you use) depending on that too, use your budget to decide the optimal size TV. My viewing distance is about 11ft and my 32" doesnt quite cover my filed of view. So, think about this too.

my viewing distance is 16ft.

my viewing distance is 16ft.

chk this link -http://plasmatvbuyingguide.com/2-plasmatvscreensize.html

and do little bit more research before finalising the screen size which is EXTREMELY imp if you want the picture to fill-up your frame of view meaning that the edges shouldnt be visible and obviously not anything more than the entire screen itself.
