Did my transaction at about 9.30 pm, when I was just curiously browsing and saw it as the last discounted copy. Now it's back to regular price. Got lucky, yes.

But do keep a regular lookout - Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, etc, are in a price discount war these days, and it may well come up again.

They may not sound like the original pressings but listening to the Division Bell Vinyl really surprised me with the quality. Was quite happy with the output and it simply rocked on the 401 and 1200. Based on this experience I have ordered the Led Zep LP and definitely value for money.

Yes a lot of the LPs pressed these days are digitally remastered..but quite a large minority of represses these days are being done from original analogue tapes..I got some of those represses and they really sound great.

Anyway this particular pressing of LZ I sounds great apparently. There's a thread going on about this at Steve Hoffman forum

It's a good deal but sadly this 1 LP pressing sounds really poor. I've listened to it. Lot of surface noise and separation is really bad. The 2 LP 45 rpm press however sounds fantastic!

me too, I missed the Division Bell LP but let the Led Zep LP pass after being on the verge of paying for it. I've always enjoyed only compilation albums of Led Zep.

I think what G401 was referring to was the ride the lightening LP which is not of good quality. The Led Zep vinyl is great.

Was referring to the content. For me, every Led Zep album usually had one or two great tracks, the rest usually were pretty ordinary.

yup saw these and thought of picking up but then dropped the plan as already have two copies of Led Zep 1 from the 70s, one even has the shrink wrap intact. I think Amazon has this offer on Master of Puppets too. Again I have the 45rpm 2LP version I found at a Berlin flea market for 10 euros i guess. hyeah:hyeah:

The release date for the Led Zep I (it was a pre-order) has been delayed to 10th October. So they won't ship the LP before that :indifferent14:

I have the new Master of Puppets that I picked up from Odyssey Bangalore...the quality is just about okay...any worse and I would use it as a frisbee...I've heard a Dutch pressing 45 which sounded big!
