This is really awesome work !! Looking forward to impressions. Any plans to isolate the motor from the rest ?

No plan to isolate motor as of now. That's PTP design. Maybe in future build I can do that, if someone is ready to try.
This one I am building for HFM Ravi.

isolating the motor is logical thinking, but not necessary, IMHO. As the idler wheel effectively couples the motor to the platter, isolation would be rather pointless. On measuring the motor rumble with fft, a slight bump around 23Hz can be seen, but this is too low (in amplitude and frequency) to be any bother at all. I have isolated the 23Hz and listened to it on headphones, and I know something is there, but that is all!.

I am really impressed by the top plate. I use PTP 4 on one of my Lenco L 75. There is least resonance feedback. The sound reproduction is very clean and impressive.

Brilliant effort...I was fantasising about doing something like this for my lenco, but never got around to doing it. This is high quality work...
