What I learned from the experts and experience that Plasma can give black marks (foot prints)after a point of time in such places like the logos and channel names where always same picture is coming.

well if you read some more threads you will find that getting these IR problems are quite difficult! it happens if you dont break in your tv properly or if you watch the same channel for about 8 hrs straight,can be fixed though.If you further abuse it by watching the same channel for 24x7 or if you display a static image for hours then you have burnt in the static image!
older plasma tv used to suffer from this quite regularly,hence the bad name!
