LG 47LV3730/Toshiba 40

Help people help!

I have been visiting LOTS of showrooms, seeing LOTS of TVs. Somehow I am not pleased with PQ (except for PLASMAs which I dont want to buy because of the reflection problem). Somehow the SD channels looks pixelated on most of them. My existing 24 inch Benq LCD monitor gives much better PQ .

Anywayz, the point is, I have come across a factory seconds deal on LG 47LV3730. So just wanted to know if anyone owns it or has any opinion about it?

If i dont buy that I will buy Toshiba 40PB20. Any review or opinion on that are also most welcome.

I know both these are two end of the spectrum.... but i dont like it the middle way... you either live grand or be minimalistic

Ordered Toshiba 40PB20 @ 36259 from Infibeam (used some random ICICI promo code to get 150rs discount )... I guess at this price, this is one of the cheapest 40" LCD from a known brand.... Performance looked at par and even better to some +10K LCDs.

Once I get it, will post the review...

I am looking for a budget 40 inch LCD. I have also shortlisted PB20 from Toshiba. Is Toshiba a respectable brand in LCDs. Please share your opinions/review. Are you satisfied with your purchase?

Hey... I m very happy with the performance... For me, it is as good as any other in the market... I might buy another one of these for my native place...

i also got my Toshiba PB20 few days back, I must say the experience is really very good, the PQ is so good plus the sound quality and also it gives tough competition to the TVs in the range of 40-55 k. Highly recommended to those who have strict budget, total VFM
