Just came across this. Really excited to see at what level the prices will settle. Right now 55 inch is being sold at 1.69L on the LG site.

This is excellent news. While it's not a great idea to buy it with the C1(and the rumoured 20% discount over 2020 models) coming soon, it's great news from LG's India strategy PoV. This means that the upcoming 42" and 48" OLEDs will be available in India for ultra-high-end gaming monitors.

The 42" is coming as per LG, not sure if in 2021 or 2022. They are also working on a 32" OLED monitor with WRGB and that will be roughly half the cost of the 55", but it's going to be 1080p only.

So overall:

Upcoming 32" WRGB: 1080p, likely next year, expected price $600-700
32" RGB monitor: not the same tech as LG OLED TVs and is made by JOLED. Will likely cost $3000+
Upcoming 42" WRGB: 4k, same tech and quality as the 48" and 55" TVs. Will likely cost around $900-1000.
