LG LM6200 owners

My lg 47 lm 6200 deliverd on monday. Over all result satisfactory. Learning picture settings. 3d is too good and hd content from hdd is good.

LM6700 would be a better option as it has the 2012 trademark Cinema 3D design. Otherwise, 3D and visuals on both of them are pretty similar. Have you surveyed them yet? If yes, then what's the price difference you're getting in the two models?

I think LM7600 is a little better than 6690 or 6700 in terms of performance, however its also a "little" expensive... any one demo-ed this model? any price range offered?

All the models below 7600 come with a ''native' 60hz panel which are advertized as 120Hz TV's using clever algorithms. The 6690/6700 also have local dimming but sadly does not make much difference.

7600 comes with a ''native'' 120hz panel which they advertize as 240hz using algorithms. The local dimming effect is better executed and works better in a 7600. The black-levels are a shade better too than the lower models. This model does not suffer from the judder during fast paced motion scenes.

8600 comes with the a faster single processor and is arguably a better performer than the 7600. It has slightly better black-levels too than the 7600.

The 9600 is the flagship model which comes with a dual core processor and much better panel with local dimming executed much better with the aid of nano led technology.

Talking about Refresh rate, read the article

Wherever i went for demoed the recommended lm6690.

I have similar observations, sales people always recommend either 6410 or 6690 , I do not know the reason... I myself feel 6200 has a better picture quality , black levels than 6410, 6690, 6700...any body has any observations?

Is it true that after the firmware update the 60HZ has changed to 120HZ in this TV?

Amazon.com: Nathan Cusick's review of LG 32LM6200 32-Inch Cinema 3D 1080p 120Hz ...

LG USA site mention that this TV has 120 Hz truemotion and MPRT, but LG indian site states that it has motion clarity index of 400 (Even LG Thailand site mention the Dynamic MCI as 400. I will be going to Thailand so what to decide which TV to purchase)...does this means all three equal or what??

It would be good if someone who has this TV can share some photos and short review of HD and SD picture quality along with that of fast moving image processing in this TV...

People here are getting the 47inch lm6200 for 77k? How much for the 55inch lm6200? Flipkart has it for 1.2lakhs. Is there a chance of getting it for a lesser pice?

The only difference between the lm6200 and lm6700 is the outer design and the lack of magic remote, right? Can you see pixels on a 55inch tv when watch a Blu-ray from 5 feet away?

Minimum viewing distance for a 55" should be atleast 10 feet. Imagine it would be like viewing a movie from the first row in a theatre if you view it from 5 feet. Even for a 47" if I view it from 5 feet my mind does not register the movement and I move back to get a clear picture. It might differ for others.

I watch a 150inch image from my projector at 10 feet :p . Makes it really immersive for me.

Watching projector and TV is slightly different. The TV image is 50 times brighter than the projector, especially with an LED TV. Watching TV at close distances will be very tiring to the eyes.
