Hello all
i am in the process of finalising a TV in my hall where i plan to have my HT. The room is well lit naturally and has big window which will reflect on the tv
i had visited croma store yesterday in Velachery mall .

i am in the process of deciding between LG C4 - oled 65 inch Vs 75 inch SONY mini led bravia 7.
The usage will be mostly movies from OTT / may be from APPLE TV device.

I had a 2017 B6 55in OLED which failed recently.

The price of c4 is around 175k & sony is around 250k post offers .

Is the 75k extra worth for the bigger screen

The G4 series are facing heat issues because of TV design; the C4 does not have heating issues.

which has better support in i am expecting if either TV can last 4-5y

LG says they give a 3y warranty ; SONY has 1yr.not sure if they have any addon warranties

Or should i look at the MI-65 inches QLED which retailed around 70k and move on:)

please share your experiences with the above brands

Thank you

Interested to know if you go in Mi direction! I need to buy it in 2 months when we shift to new place.

I love Sony Color science but is it worth the premium compared to Mi in 2025 is the question! I use all TVs only with Apple TV and that has cured many of the color issues. I even travel with one, so I checked various brands of TVs in hotels and airbnbs. Apple TV cured many color issues with various apps or when connected with Mac. I am heavily inclined towards budget brand. If the TV fails after few years then it won'r hurt that much to replace. And I think, the budget TVs have improved a lot compared to 5-7 years back and now the performance gap seems not to match the price gap except the aspirational value of owning a big brand TV :)

The VFM players have raised their game in terms of the pricing and now its more like use and dispose. Its a matter of time where gap will be minimum and difference will be on service / warranty levels.
i am waiting for MI to release their 2025 versions
