LG or Samsung

Dear friends

In a 55 inch high end 3D smart LED TV, which is a better option from either of the two LG or Samsung in terms of

1. SD picture quality
2. HD picture quality
3. 3D picture quality
4. Value for money
4. Overall package deal , meaning TV looks, after sales service and all of the above points.

Replies from our dear forum members would help me decide on one of the above brands as my next TV purchase this coming Diwali.

I always felt from my experience that Samsung leds give juicy pictures than LGs.

Personally I feel sammies score better on the first three parameters mentioned by you. As far as after sales service is concerned, at least in my city LG scores much much better.

Finally I suggest you to trust ur eyes. Visit a few dealerships and do an apple to apple comparison. What appears good to me need not necessarily appear good to you. All the best!

Generally LG appliances are way ahead of Samsung in build quality. But Samsung got some edge on adopting latest features... So in LCDs, then it could be Samsung. But I will never go for these , blindly for Sony.

Dude.. personally I am not a very big fan of TVs, but all my other friends have pretty big families.. so it is customary to have one hell of a TV at their homes.. Coincidintally, one of my friends has got the Samsung 55F6400 55" LED TV and the other one has the LG 55LA6910 55" LED TV
Personally, I enjoy watching the LG more than the Samsung.. So I would say you should have a demo of both these TVs done and then decide based on what YOU find better.. Good luck
