i have a 43 inch lg smart tv which has a boomy audio.the audio settings has a equaliser option but even then the boom from the speakers is so high that there is no clarity in the voice...eg treble.is this a adjustment issue or should i look for a tv bar speaker etc to get more clearer sound? BTWthere is no dedicated treble/bass control option in the sound setttings

agreed...but there has to be a solution to this massive audio boom/bass emanating from this bloody tv everytime i crankup the volume
Hi, do you have the AI sound option on your LG? That always sounded better to me rather than the other options. It isn't boomy as far as I can tell.

Try connecting any active speaker lying around the house/ from a friend through headphone out/RCA. If you have a stereo system connect that and see. If problem is with TV and if within warranty call for a technician. If not then try external speakers/ sound bar.

which sound bar ??

budget 5K...connectivity includes HDMI and RCA
At 5k you may have to consider sound bars from Boat or similar but there is no guarantee that they could be significantly better than your in built speakers. Or entry level Samsung/LG if you can stretch your budget to 7-8k. Best to hear personally at Croma/Vijay Sales then decide.

ok...for a budget of about 10K what should be best for me

im looking for soundbar which can provide good treble range to overcome my tv bass boom..prefereed with HDMI connection and dolby...around 15K
Some times the bass boom, may due to room acoustics or placement/position of the TV. Before going around for some other speakers, you can have audition by placing the TV at different place/places/room, just to ensure, the TV speaker is the real culprit.
