LGHT353SD-A2 Home theater upgrade output with compatible Amplifier /Receiver

Hi Friends,

Trust you are doing well. I am new to this forum and thought of getting some help in upgrading my Home theater.

1. I own LG HT353SD -A2 Home theater which is 5.1 setup, 5 speakers are with 4 Ohms Impedance and a Sub woofer with 8 ohms Impedance.

2. can I connect these speakers to other AV Receivers / Amplifiers to enhance the current sound output.

3. If Yes please specify the compatible model, or guide me how to check whether the receiver is compatible or not

4. Connect to 32 inch led TV, Airtel setup box & mobile device.

Except subwoofer, yes..you can re-use the speaker with AVR if they are rated 4 ohms.. Most AVR today, support 4 ohms..

Onkyo/Denon/Marantz/Yamaha are popular AVR's.. Check the specs for 4 ohms compatibility.. (Search for google images of the model). If you look at the rear panel, compatibility would be mentioned.. Else download the technical sheet (or) user manual to double confirm the same..

4. Connect to 32 inch led TV, Airtel setup box & mobile device.

Connectivity shouldn't be an issue as the entry level AVR should have 4 HDMI inputs & 1 output..

BTW what is your budget for AVR?

Query regarding receiving Dolby sound from TV to 5.1 Home theater

1. My current setup (Airtel HD setup box + LG DVD player + 32 inch Soniq TV )Have connected setup box and TV through HDMI (1) and for audio connected 3 RCA (Red, White & Yellow) to LG DVD player, as this player doesn't have either a HDMI / digital optical port, i am receiving Dolby sound without any issues.

2. Google Chromecast connected to TV HDMI 2, audio input/ output with another set 3 RCA cables, whenever want to watch movies, music remove the red & white cable attached from DTH to DVD and hookup the red& white audio cable from TV to DVD to listen music but here TV is not sending Dolby sound via RCA cables, also having very low sound

3. TV doesn't have optical port and DVD player doesn't have HDMI and Optical port.

4. is there a way to receive Dolby sound from TV to DVD , via RCA to optical or RCA to HDMI cables or do I need any converters to work.
