Hey!!

I have the following setup

Onkyo-3400
Hathway HD Set-top Box
Samsung LA40C550
Harmony 725

Set-top (HDMI OUT)------>TV (HDMI IN)
Set-top (DIGITAL OUT)----------> Onkyo (Digital IN)

Issue
when I end/ turn off the "Watch TV" activity on my remote, Set-top box will never turn off. However, eveything works fine from OFF to ON (When I start the "Watch TV' activity)

one more thing what I observed was, after starting the "Watch TV" activity, I need to press channel button two times (which is configured to Set-top box on the remote) in case if i had already pressed volume (which is configured to Onkyo Receiver)...

In simple terms.... in case if i press any of the button that is configured to Onkyo receiver, the remote will not accept the next signal which is configured to set-top box (eg: channel button) unless i press that button (eg: channel button) again... Hence i need to press that button one more time in order to change the channel..

Try by adjusting the inter-key delay and inter-device delay. In your case it may be the inter-device delay that is causing the problem. Your STB takes some time to process and discard the Onkyo remote signal. During this time if it receives the stb signal it may not respond to the signal correctly. With my harmony 525, the reliance stb remote is really sluggish and I could not configure it correctly. Now I use the harmony only for initial on, hdmi switching and power off. For other purpose I still use the individual remotes.

I tried by changing the delays, but still the problem could not be corrected...

Does anybody have idea, which is the nearest model for Hathway HD Set-top Box (HDB100)..??

Thanks!!
