I am looking to buy a 32" full HD TV (if possible 40")

Budget - 20-25k (I can't extend it to 30k.)
Won't connect to external speakers so decent audio output (clear dialogue is fine, not worried about bass) from TV appreciated.
Will watch some videos from laptop thru HDMI
Hall size is 16 x 10
Location - Chennai
Open to buy online, will buy 2 yr extended cover

How about Vu? (I am worried about their service in Chennai)
This is available for 25.5k

I think you should go for branded names such as Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, LG. But again it is up to you.

You can check Panasonic. Models with Hexachrome technology are great. Colors were warm, no artificial coloration which matched my taste. Recently bought Panasonic 32" HD-Ready (due to budget constraints) but if I had more money I would have bought their FULL HD series. Look for TVs with at-least 2 years warranty.

A while back, Flipkart had listed TCL 49 inch FHD Tv, with 3 yr warranty for 26.5K.. They also had cloud walker 43 inch for 19K, limited sale offer, which comes with 1 yr warranty..With some selected credit/debit card, you might have some more discounts..

Please keep checking both amazon.in & Flipkart for any good deals..You might be able to grab one..

Hi....there is stiff competition between TVs today and there are a lot available cheaper....you need to check on warranty, after sales service and built quality.....

All brands use Made in China parts and nothing comes Made in Japan....the best brands have been reported as failed after barely ONE year of use....so think before you take the plunge on an expensive brand....

Most of all, see what connectivity and features you want the TV to have, look at those brands and models and then decide....

Panasonic seems to be doing well and so is the VU premium / play series.....don't miss out on checking TCL and Videocon.....I believe their mid segment and high end ones are worth.....

End of the day...ask yourself this question....how many hours per day will you be able to make time from your busy hectic worklife and spend the same before a TV????

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
