hi, after using an LG basic non smart led for over 6 yrs, looking for an upgrade. Reasons - it has developed a vertical line on the right side. This is the second time in its life, fortunately the first time it was replaced under the onsite extended warranty that i had bought, which saved me once. But now again within 3 yrs the 2nd display has also developed a line. The second reason is, i bought a PS5 and i think it deserves a nice 4k panel and if possible with gaming features like VRR or AMD freesync.
One thing I've been told is all current LED TVs be it sony, samsung, LG or the budget ones be it Mi, TCL, Hisense, Vu will go kaput within 3-5yrs at most, by kaput i mean the display. My LG suffered the same fate, even though it was bought in 2017/18.

Yeah my previous LCD tv which was a Philips and a sony never had display issues and last 8-10 yrs. Which is not the case any more. Since i am out of touch with current brands in terms of Service quality and display features good enough to enjoy ps5, i need some help. In terms of service n warranty which out of these would members here suggest. Mainly Xiaomi, TCL or Hisense or even Haier. Since these brands have options for gaming tvs in my budget and offer 2-3 yr warranty on panels. Any help would be appreciated and any particular model which suits my criteria. And one issue i have is backlight bleeding, which is one thing i want to minimize. Coming from a 1080p tv with zero display features, any 4k display would be a huge upgrade but one thing that irks me is perceivable backlight bleeding. I've heard this new tech in led like qled or miniled is the way to go now. so any suggestions in terms of models please do tell. thanks.

TVs which are available today are not built to LAST as most components are China. Very few brands offer warranty and some online portals offer extended warranty, better check with the brand if that extended warranty is honored or not!

Ideally VU offers 3 years warranty GLO models and even the Vide TV is good. Check with your local dealer who maybe selling the same, check online prices and then close a deal.

You can window shop at Vijay Sales / Reliance Digital etc to check which are the best TVs and models within your budget.

Toshiba is also good. I am using a 32 inch LED since 2012 and still works well with no issues till date!
