Looking for a decent 65" 4k TV for my home.
Usage: Movies, Amazon stick 4k/normal, jio tv
Requirements:
Size: 65"
HDR 10 is a must
buit in speaker Audio Quality: not so important as I connect to external system.
SD to 4k Up-scaling quality: not so important as I only use Amazon stick
Please give some suggestions

Shortlisted:
MarQ 65SAUHD
iFFALCON 65K2A
TCL 65P2MUS

MarQ is an IPS tv (better viewing angles but much worse contrast and picture quality) while the iffalcon and tcl ones are VA (much better pq and contrast but narrow viewing angles).

Iffalcon and tcl have the same panels but the Tcl one has the older Android version. You could buy either of these two depending on which one is cheaper. (Both are better than marQ in my opinion)

how is VU pixelight 65XT800X?, I see good reviews of it everywhere

Pixelight is the best in terms of picture quality in the price range (less than 70-75k for 65 inch TV's) and is a VA panel with DLED backlighting giving better picture quality (edge lit tv's usually have worse PQ) . Would recommend buying a fire stick/Android box if you're planning to use the TV (as it's smart features/app options are pretty bad). It's much better than tcl/iffalcon and mi tv. Pixelight is their 2017 tv range which is tough to get in most stores

However, avoid the 2018 range of VU android tvs (edge lit backlighting and IPS panels providing bad PQ)

Best options for 65 inch TV's (in my opinion)

Budget options (Less than 75k)
1) VU Pixelight (if available)
2) iFFalcon (60k after discounts on flipkart)

Mid-range options (less than 1.5L)
1)Samsung NU 7470/7100 - Whichever fits your budget.
2)TCL X4 - Not launched yet but is the only QLED tv in this price range, has decent reviews so far
3)Sony x750F - IPS panel so good viewing angles but picture quality isn't worth the premium in terms of pricing

High end options:
1)LG C8 (2-2.2L street price): Best in terms of picture quality and wide viewing angles. No other tv can beat it in terms of PQ. However, there is a slight risk of burn-in for OLED TV's

2) Sony X9000F(2-2.2L street price): Amazing picture quality (DLED backlighting, VA panel and great upscaling and motion processing). No risk of burn in

I'm going ahead with OLED TV's for my usage as I have home insurance which covers repairs/damages for all electronics/mobile phones/appliances etc for a nominal charge, so I don't have to worry about burn in.

Thanks,
Is TCL X4 worth the wait?
VU pixelight is available in tatacliq.
My budget is around 1L. I will go with proper brands if the service of low priced brands is not good

I heard that this kind of insurance is available while buying TV on store also with additional $, which agency provides this insurance?

Store bought insurance is very expensive and only covers the TV (10k per year)

I've got Bajaj's home insurance which covers all electrical fittings/furniture/appliances/phone/tv/electronics and fire insurance (up to claims of 7L/year) for less than 5k/year.

Thanks I was looking for this.

Checked with Reliance Digital, LG 65" 6360 for 1.3L and Samy 7100 for 1.4L
Is iFFalcon has any motion artifacts issue or ghosting effect for fast scenes?

But isn't that limited to situations like Fire, floods etc? Do they provide coverage for panel failure etc?

Yes, everything is covered for all electronics (accidental damage or panel failure etc), there is a small processing fee or such in case of TV's of less than 1k at time of repair

You can get Samy 7100/7470 much cheaper on tata cliq. I'd recommend the Samsung one over LG any day (LG is IPS so pq is okayish)

Oh ok. That's good to hear. Can you share the policy name or link to the policy?

Thanks, but reliance gives 5 to 10% cash back. Cliq also has some cash back on specific day.

Reliance also promised good service, not sure of how much they really mean that.

Sill not decided to go more than 90-1L,
unless any issue with ghosting/lags/responsiveness/blur in budget segment.

And Sammy definitely looking good than lg in showroom when compared between 6360 and 7100

How is the service of tcl/iffcon if some issues stars with their tv?
